Waterproof USB Connectors For Industrial Applications
Because of the increasing demand of computing connectors in industrial automation W+P PRODUCTS now launches a new series of waterproof and dustproof USB- and Mini-USB connectors.
They are adapted to the rough conditions in industrial applications. Especially interesting for miniaturized devices is the small size of the Mini-USB-Connectors with a panel cutout of only 15.6 mm.
The high quality USB connectors guarantee protection against the effects of temporary and continuous immersion in water and against the penetration of dust according to the protection classes IP 67 / 68. Additionally, they assure temperature resistance from –20° to +80°C, UV-resistance can be realized on demand.
W+P PRODUCTS offers corressponding cable assemblies as well as waterproof caps. The connectors are available as Type A and B version and as Mini-USB version.
