IDC-Connector with 1.27 mm Pitch

W+P PRODUCTS launches an expanded spectrum of IDC-Connectors in the very small pitch of 1.27 mm. In all systems where space is a limited factor the new series are interesting to realize flexible and space saving connections of electronic equipment via flat cable.
High precision and security is guaranteed. Equipped with polarized housings the new IDC-Connectors suit for blind mating. Optionally, the box headers are available with positive latchings to prevent accidental disconnect. Corrosion resistance and gas tightness are guaranteed by the technology of insulation displacement contact (IDC).
W+P delivers IDC Socket Connectors which are plugged into fitting box headers and IDC PCB Connectors for direct soldering. Various versions are available: 6 to 80 contacts, straight and right angled, SMT and solder type, with and without latchings. The insulators consist of thermoplastic, rated UL94 V-0, the contact material consists of copper alloy. The solderability is guaranteed according to IEC 60512‑12A, the operating temperature ranges from -40 to +105°C.
