IDC-Connector with 1.27 mm pitch
W+P’s Cable-to Board Connection minimizes space
W+P’s compact IDC-connector series 644 offers new possibilities to economize space on the PCB.
The Micro-IDC-Connector transmits signals and low load currents up to 1.2 A (32 VAC) from board to board via flat cable in 1.27 mm pitch. Precise, safe and on small space.
Interesting applications are flexible board-to-board connections via flat cable in any system where minimized space is important. Especially in industrial computing, automation, communications and consumer electronics.
The Micro-IDC-Connector series 644 is available with 4-26 contacts, for SMT- and THT soldering, as straight and right angled version. W+P offers male multipoint connectors and as corresponding counterpieces female multipoint connectors.
The contact material consists of a copper alloy, the insulator consists of thermoplastic according to UL 94V0. The solderability is guaranteed according to IEC 512-12A, the operating temperature ranges from –40 to +105°C.
