Flat female header with a profile of 2,3mm
Compact stacking of PCB's of 1.27mm pitch
With a mounting height of only 2.3mm the female header series 6062 of W+P PRODUCTS offers new possibilities for compact stacking of printed circuit boards. The double row female header is available with 1.27 x 1.27 mm pitch as SMT-version and is equiped with a Pick-&Place-Pad for automated placement.
As a matching part to the female headers W+P PRODUCTS offers als well flat pin headers with 1.27mm pitch: the series 7072 realizes space saving board-to-board connections with an insulator height of only 1.0 mm.
The contact material of the pin and female headers consists of CuZn 30, the material of the insulator consists of a high temperature thermoplastic, rated UL94 V-0. The solderability is guaranteed according to IEC 512-12A. A safe function is assured in a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C.
Attractive applications for the board-to-board-connections are e.g. in automation, mobile telephone systems, telecommunications, industrial PCs and in all areas which require compact size and in the same time a flexible design of devices.
