With a mounting height of only 2.2mm the flat female header series 6061 of W+P PRODUCTS offers new possibilities for compact stacking of printed circuit boards. In combination with the pin header series 712 and 7072 they realize PCB-distances of only 1.7mm. The pin headers support the space saving board-to-board-connection with an insulation height of 1.0mm.
Additional advantage of the new female header of W+P PRODUCTS: As a dual entry connector it opens two possibilities for stacking of PCBs: face to face or directly on top of each other.
The female header series 6061 is available as SMT-version with a pick- & place-pad for automatical loading. With a 1,27x1,27mm pitch it can be ordered from 10-100 contacts. The contact material of the pin and female headers consists of CuZn30, the material of the insulator consists of a high temperature thermoplastic, rated UL94 V-0. The solderability is guaranteed according to IEC 512-12A. A safe function is assured in a temperature range from –40°C to +105°C.
